Barker & Bailey honored for 497,952 SF Industrial Lease for $21,150,793 in Columbia, S.C.

Washington, D.C. – John Barker, Jr., SIOR & Leah Bailey, SIOR, were recently honored by the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors® (SIOR) for its 2022 Top Transaction Awards in the category of Largest Dollar Volume M2M Transaction – Member Associate.

The accolade was awarded in recognition of a 497,952 square-foot, cross-dock, speculative facility along I-26 at Sandy Run Industrial Park in Columbia, SC, that was delivered in May 2023. The building was preleased in December 2022 to Smart Warehousing, a warehousing, fulfillment and technology solutions company, with operations slated to begin in June 2023. Sandy Run is a ±760-acre, fully entitled industrial park with access to all utilities that has 5.9 million SF of planned buildings. Red Rock Developments is the owner and developer for this Class A industrial space in the park.
