Red Rock Developments delivers second speculative distribution facility at Sandy Run Industrial Park
The 519,792-square-foot, cross-dock, speculative facility completed construction in October 2024.
Columbia, S.C. (November 4, 2024) – Red Rock Developments is pleased to announce that construction is complete at its second speculative distribution facility in Sandy Run Industrial Park and the building is ready for immediate occupancy. The 519,792-square-foot, cross-dock warehouse is located along I-26 in Calhoun County, a rapidly growing industrial submarket of Columbia, and is the only 40-foot clear speculative building to ever be constructed in the central South Carolina market.

Colliers has also been retained for property management services. The construction project team includes Miller Valentine Construction, MCA Architecture, Alliance Consulting Engineers and S&ME.
The building is expandable to 1,161, 888 square feet and is the only available building in the central South Carolina region with a 40-foot clear height. The site allows for multiple building configurations for future expansion opportunities.
The Class A building features direct access from Interstate 26 (Exit 119) and is located near the Amazon Distribution Center, Nephron Pharmaceuticals, the UPS Air and Ground Hub and the Columbia Metropolitan Airport.
