AvidXchange – Charlotte, NC – 201,450 SF

AvidXchange is a fifteen-year-old, mid-market, B2B payment provider. Headquartered in Charlotte, NC, the company is one of the fastest growing players in its industry, and when they were looking to create their “technology campus of the future”, they selected Red Rock Developments. Red Rock and its team of design partners collaborated with AvidXchange to design a six-story, 201,450-square-foot office building in the heart of uptown Charlotte.

Completed 2nd quarter of 2017, the cutting-edge design features precast concrete panels with brick inlay, open floorplan designs, and modern office amenities, including a full-length basketball court. Located adjacent to The Fillmore Charlotte, a concert venue, programming and construction of the facility was an extreme challenge. Red Rock was able to work seamlessly with its contractor, Brasfield & Gorrie, to coordinate the schedule so as to minimize the impact on events planned at The Fillmore Charlotte. In addition, Red Rock and its design partner, LS3P Associates, was able to appease all constituencies involved to provide ample parking through the inclusion of a six-story parking deck within the site design.
