Meet the Team: Scott Austin

Our Red Rock Employee Spotlight of the week is the Georgia Tornado, Scott Austin. Brian ‘Scott’ Austin was born and raised in Vinton, VA. Scott attended Clemson University from 1987 to 1991 and was a Phi Delta Theta Fraternity member. Scott has three children: his daughter, Regan, and his two boys, Gray and Witt. He is married to the lovely Suzanne Austin. Scott has been with Red Rock Developments for seven months now. His experience in construction working with The Conlan Company has been an incredible asset to have on the Red Rock team. When Scott isn’t checking up on our construction sites, he is hunting birds or taking the boat out on Lake Keowee. His favorite aspect of his job is being a problem solver and overcoming daily challenges. If you know Scott, working with him is fun as he always has a story or joke. On Saturdays in the fall, Scott can be found in Death Valley cheering on the Clemson Tigers. He is a massive fan of all Clemson Athletics! A fun fact from Scott would be that he didn’t like country music, despite growing up in the South, until ten years ago, and now it is all he listens to.
