Meet the Team: Reid Hofstetter

Another week, another Red Rock Developments Employee Spotlight! This week, we have the privilege of letting you all know about Reid Hofstetter, one of the most intelligent people in the entire real estate industry! Before moving to South Carolina, Reid grew up in Glenelg, Maryland, an hour north of our nation’s capital. Reid moved to South Carolina after high school to attend Clemson University. Reid left Clemson with a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management and a Master’s in Real Estate Development! He bleeds orange and purple! While at Clemson, Reid played for the Lacrosse team through all four undergrad years and had great success. He won two state titles in Lacrosse during high school, but nothing can beat wrapping up your collegiate career by taking down your rival, UofSC, in the season’s final game. While pursuing his master’s degree in 2019, Reid went to work for CBRE in Charlotte, NC. He was an associate working on the Wells Fargo Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) account, dealing with property management on a global scale. After the 2019 spring semester, Reid joined the Red Rock team and has been with Red Rock for over three years. As a financial associate, Reid primarily focuses on managing the financial operations of various real estate development projects and opportunities throughout their life cycle. This includes real estate financial modeling and underwriting for speculative, build-to-suit, and leasing opportunities, capital sourcing and capital management, project budget management, and financial reporting. Reid’s expertise in Excel Modeling drives his passion for data and economic analysis innovation, which he leverages to Red Rocks’ advantage. On top of all that, Reid is also a licensed Real Estate Broker in South Carolina. Reid’s goal for the year is to update development and investment underwriting models to perfect them and make them adaptable to all investment strategies and scenarios.

Reid is the son of Deena and Eric Hofstetter and the sibling of his two brothers, Kyle and Brian, and his sister, Katie. Reid has a Golden Retriever named Jax, and he shares it with Brian. Reid’s favorite part of work is most of our favorite part: winning deals! Reid lives by his favorite quote when he enters the office: “I stay ready, so I don’t have to get ready.” Reid loves spending his time outside of the office. When it gets too cold for Lacrosse, he trades in his stick for a snowboard!

Reid is an IT expert who always has solutions for any model issues that may come our way. Red Rock is very fortunate to have such a bright mind on our team, helping us be the best we can be every single day. We thank you, Reid, for allowing us to share just a few of our favorite things about you.
