Meet the Team: Leah Barker Bailey

Welcome back to another Red Rock Employee Spotlight. Today, we have the privilege of giving you an inside look at our Senior Vice President of Leasing, Leah B. Bailey, SIOR. Leah was born and raised just west of Charlotte in Shelby, North Carolina. Leah attended Shelby High School and received her BS in Economics & Real Estate from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina. Leah now resides in Charlotte with her husband, Brad, her two daughters, Caroline and Lily Grace, and her dog Scout. Leah brings nearly three decades worth of experience in real estate to Red Rock Developments. Before joining Red Rock, Leah worked in office leasing for Trinity Partners in Charlotte. Leah spent 18 years with Trinity and leased millions of square feet to an impressive array of institutional owners. Leah left her mark on the office leasing world by racking several awards and accolades, including the ‘Largest Office Leasing Transaction in Mecklenburg County’ award for SIOR. Leah has since left the office world and has spent the last eight years working for Red Rock in Industrial leasing. Not only does Leah oversee all of Red Rock’s leasing, but Leah also oversees property management for all our buildings. Leah has great aspirations for 2023, as her goal is to lease every building Red Rock has under construction and complete three new Build-To-Suits. Leah’s favorite part about working for Red Rock is participating in our weekly Bible study company-wide. Leah is a people person and has enjoyed meeting and fostering relationships with countless connections over the years. When Leah is on the road, she doesn’t go anywhere without first sipping down a hot Black Coffee. Something you might not know about Leah is that she grew up showing Tennessee Walking Horses competitively up until she graduated from college. Leah has also known her husband Brad for 53 years – meeting him in Patsy Rose’s Kindergarten class when they were five. Leah is often known for her nifty catchphrases such as ‘What in the Praytail’ and ‘Knock ‘Em Naked.’

Leah is an incredible asset to the Red Rock team. Her type-A personality and sense of urgency with everything she does keep our company firing on all cylinders. She can do it all and has no fear of any task that might be put in front of her. We appreciate all the hard work and passion Leah puts into her career and can’t say how much we value her as a member of our team enough. Ladies and Gentlemen, Leah B. Bailey.
