Meet the Team: Kaki Mac Lain

It is time to recognize another one of our superstar employees here at Red Rock Developments! Our RRD Employee Spotlight of the week is Catherine “Kaki” Mac Lain! Kaki was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina! She received a BS in Business Management from Clemson University (2015) and a master’s in real estate development (2017). Kaki is a big Clemson Tiger football fan and married a former football player for the Tigers, Eric Mac Lain! Eric and Kaki have an 8-month-old daughter named Amelia and a dog named Sammy! Congrats to Eric and Kaki on their baby girl! Kaki works for Red Rock as a Development and Accounting Associate in our Columbia, SC office. She has worked in the real estate industry for six years, before Red Rock as a Retail Broker and working in Corporate Real Estate Services for NAI Earle Furman in Greenville, SC. This July will mark two years for Kaki at Red Rock Developments! Kaki’s favorite aspect of her job is working alongside the people she gets to interact with daily. She has been exceptional in fostering relationships thus far in the Real Estate business, and her goal for the year is to continue to grow those relationships. Kaki’s favorite quote is by Albert Schweitzer, “Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to Success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.” Kaki loves a good TV, especially anything on Bravo. Currently, she is watching Ted Lasso, The Diplomat and Succession! When Kaki is on the road traveling for work, her go-to gas station snack is Peanut M&Ms, which is a true classic! Her peers can describe Kaki as someone very organized, loyal, and kind!

The last two years with Kaki on the team have flown by, and we can’t thank her enough for all that she does to contribute to the success of Red Rock. She is exceptional at what she does, and we can’t wait to see her continue to grow in her role. Thank you, Kaki, for letting us share some of our favorite things about you!
