Please join us in welcoming our newest team members! We’ve added Reid Hofstetter, Michael Anderson, Jay Matey, PE, and Todd Roper to the Red Rock Developments Team. After the launch of our industrial real estate fund, we are poised for growth and excited about the future!

Reid Hofstetter
Reid Hofstetter

Financial Associate

As a member of the Red Rock Develoopments team, Reid’s primary focus at Red Rock Developments is managing property level finances throughout the development process. This primarily includes real estate financial modeling and analysis for future projects, and accounting and reporting for active and on-going projects. His passion for IT drives his expertise in data research and analytics, levering said data and technology to Red Rock’s advantage.

Reid received a Bachelor of Science in Financial Management and Accounting and a Master of Real Estate Development, both from Clemson University. While at Clemson, Reid played for their collegiate level lacrosse team, beating out The University of South Carolina in his final game to win the division.

Michael Anderson
Michael Anderson

Senior Vice President of Construction

Mike leads the construction management division for Red Rock Developments. His primary responsibilities include overseeing all construction efforts, providing early cost estimations, and assisting with project design and costing.

After starting his career with a national general contractor, Mike spent nine years with Michelin as a project manager and most recently was with CBRE as an embedded project manager overseeing all aspects of construction for CBRE client projects. He specializes in complex projects with multiple stakeholders and focuses on identifying and mitigating potential risks, and maximizing value for the client.

Mike has a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Colorado State University. Mike attends Grace Church in Easley, SC, with his wife and two young daughters.

Jay Matey, PE
Jay Matey, PE

Senior Vice President of Engineering And Pre-Construction Services

Jay leads the pre-development and design services division of Red Rock. His primary responsibilities include due diligence, site feasibility, and managing the entitlement, design, and permitting processes. Jay has extensive experience working in complex regulatory environments and has established a track record of delivering efficient, cost-effective designs on challenging sites.

He has over 20 years of experience working as a design professional on private development and public infrastructure projects throughout the southeastern United States.

Jay has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida. Jay and his wife have one child and recently relocated to the Atlanta, Georgia area.

Todd Roper
Todd Roper

Senior Vice President of Development

As a member of the Red Rock team, Todd will oversee project development and assist with project underwriting and new market pursuits.

Prior to Red Rock, Todd spent over a decade at BI-LO, Michelin and Tire Centers (a wholly owned subsidiary of Michelin) in senior real estate positions covering a broad range of tasks. Over his career, Todd has completed over 500 sale, lease, sale/leaseback, and build to suit transactions, covering millions of square feet.

Todd holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Management from Western Carolina University. Todd is married with 2 children and attends Buncombe Street Methodist Church in Greenville, SC.
