Doe & Ingalls, now part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, a Raleigh, North Carolina-based chemical supply chain company, selected Red Rock Developments to complete a 60,000-square-foot east coast distribution facility to serve Doe & Ingalls’ market growth strategy. Through a competitive bid process, Red Rock Developments was able to differentiate itself from the competition by providing a comprehensive building solution to accommodate Doe & Ingalls‘ specialty design criteria. By working with the customer, Red Rock Developments was able to assist the tenant in the design and completion of a state-of-the-art facility.

Due to the specialized nature of the facility and the associated above-market costs, Red Rock Developments offered the company a build-to-suit-own strategy providing a true owner’s perspective and guiding the tenant through the complicated design and permitting stages of the project. The result was a certified H3/H4 facility designed to the exact specifications of the customer.
